The 800 Loft Hutterite White Down Duvet is a high-performance, fluffy, and soft duvet filled with premium 800 loft duck down. Made in Toronto with down farmed by the Hutterites in western Canada, this duvet features an ultra-soft 500 thread count cotton shell.

Designed for cold sleepers or cooler sleeping temperatures of 16-18°C, the All Season Weight duvet is remarkably light yet extremely insulating, thanks to the high loft down.

The duvet's construction includes 4 corner loops and baffle box design, with inner vertical baffle walls that create a 3-dimensional container, allowing the down to loft up to its full potential. The 500 thread count, down-proof, 100% cotton shell is soft and quiet.

The 800+ loft duck down fill consists of clusters of light, fluffy filaments growing from a central quill point, providing superior warmth and performance. A minimum thread count of 233 is required to prevent down and feather leakage.

Higher thread count fabrics, like the one used in this duvet, are softer, quieter, and allow the down to breathe and loft to its full potential, although they are more expensive. The higher the loft, the less fill is needed to achieve the desired warmth, making higher loft duvets lighter than their lower loft counterparts.
