This duvet is made with fluffy, soft, high-performance 700 loft goose down fill, crafted in Toronto using down farmed by the Hutterites in western Canada. The shell is a soft, smooth 400 thread count cotton, making it an all-season weight that's great for cold sleepers or cooler sleeping temperatures of 16-18°C.

The duvet features a 4-corner loop design and baffle box construction, with the fill evenly distributed across the boxes. Each box has inner vertical baffle walls, creating a 3-dimensional container that allows the down to loft up to its full potential. The 400 thread count, down-proof, 100% cotton fabric is soft and quiet.

The 700+ loft goose down used is the soft undercoating of geese, consisting of clusters of light, fluffy filaments growing from a central quill point. While it's not possible to achieve 100% down cluster material due to natural variation, this 700 loft down typically tests at around 85% down cluster content - well above the minimum 75% required to be considered "pure down".

Loft, also known as fill power, is the measure of a down's fluffiness, specifically how many cubic inches 1 ounce of down will fill. Higher loft down is fluffier, warmer per ounce, and of better overall quality. Good quality down products start at 550 loft and can reach up to 1000 loft. The higher the loft, the less fill is needed to achieve the desired warmth, resulting in a lighter duvet.
